How to Connect Your Instagram Account to Lucidya
To successfully connect your Instagram account with Lucidya, a few essential steps must be completed. These steps ensure a smooth and complete integration — starting from verifying your account type and required permissions, all the way to finalizing the connection.
Step 1: Key Requirements Before You Connect
To ensure a successful integration, please make sure of the following:
1. Convert Your Instagram Account to a Business Account
Your Instagram profile must be a Business Account.
To check or change your account type:
Go to your Instagram app → Settings → Business tools & controls
2. Ensure Full Access to the Business Manager
You must have full admin access to the Meta Business Manager linked to your Instagram account.
To confirm this:
Go to Meta Business Suite → Settings → Users → People
Ensure your profile has the role “Full Control – Everything”
3. Link Your Instagram Account to the Business Portfolio
Once your Instagram account is set as a Business Account, you need to link it to your Meta Business Portfolio.
To do this: Go to Meta Business Suite → Settings → Accounts → Instagram Accounts
4. Link Your Instagram Account to Your Facebook Page
Your Instagram account must be linked to the Facebook Page of your business.
To do this:
Go to Meta Business Suite → Settings → Accounts → Pages,
then select the Facebook Page you want to link to your Instagram account.
After completing the connection, make sure your Instagram account appears under the Connected Assets section of your linked Facebook Page.
This confirms the integration is complete and ready to be used in Lucidya.
Step 2: Connect Your Instagram Account to Lucidya
You can connect your Instagram account to Lucidya by following these steps:
1. Add Your Instagram Account to Lucidya
From your Lucidya platform:

Note:
If you’d like to see which pages will be connected, you can select the second option.
However, make sure to switch back to the first option before continuing to ensure full permissions are granted.
2. View Verified Accounts
If you have more than one verified Instagram account, you can check which ones are connected by selecting Instagram from the Accounts list.
All verified accounts will be displayed there.
By completing these steps, your business’s Instagram account will be successfully connected to the Lucidya platform.
This connection is essential for unlocking Lucidya’s advanced social media analytics and management features — helping you optimize your content strategies and achieve your business goals with greater precision and efficiency.
