The Connections page lets you connect, reconnect, and manage all your data source accounts from one place. Authentication is now account-scoped, any authorized team member can manage connections without affecting other accounts or workflows.
What You Can Do with Connections
Connect and authenticate data source accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Genesys, and more)
Monitor connection status and expiry dates at a glance
Reconnect accounts before or after expiry
View which monitors and channels are using each account
Disconnect or delete accounts when needed
Step-by-Step: Connecting an Account
1. Navigate to Connections
Go to Settings → Connections.
You'll see all connected accounts grouped by data source. Unconnected sources available to your company appear below.
2. Add a New Account
Click the data source you want to connect. If no account is linked yet, you'll see an Add Account button.
Facebook — Select a connected Facebook account, then choose from your available Facebook Pages.
Instagram — Select the Instagram account, then select the linked Facebook Page.
Genesys — Enter your Genesys API credentials. The system validates them automatically.
Other sources — Follow the on-screen authentication flow, which adapts to each data source's requirements.
3. Review Account Details
Once connected, click any account to open its side drawer. Here you can review:
Account name, username, and profile picture
Expiry countdown or days since expiry
Which monitors and channels are using this account
Full activity log (Connect, Reconnect, Disconnect)
How to Reconnect an Account
Before expiry: When fewer than 8 days remain, an orange “Expire In” indicator appears on the account. Click the three-dot menu → Reconnect to refresh the token without interrupting any active monitors.
After expiry: If the token has already expired, the status changes to Expired and all related monitors, channels, and hashtags are paused automatically. Reconnect from the three-dot menu — once successful, everything resumes automatically with no manual steps needed.
How to Authenticate While Working
You don't need to visit Connections every time. Authentication is available inline across the platform:
Where | How |
Monitor → Create Monitor | Click Add Facebook Account or Authenticate — a 2-step pop-up opens. Complete it and return to your monitor with no inputs lost. |
Monitor → Manage Channels | Click Add Channel — Choose any category. Setup Channel to choose from existing accounts, or you can authenticate a new account. |
How to Disconnect or Delete an Account
To disconnect: Click the three-dot menu on the account → Disconnect. This removes the token and pauses associated monitors and channels, but keeps the account record in the system.
To delete: Click the three-dot menu → Delete. This permanently removes the connection, tokens, scopes, and permissions. This action cannot be undone.
Both actions show a confirmation pop-up explaining the full impact before proceeding.
