How to Create Scheduled Reports

A step-by-step guide to creating scheduled reports in Lucidya — covering all three setup steps across Social Listening, Managed Channels, and OmniServe, including delivery settings, report branding, and the Luci AI summary feature.

Scheduled Reports allow you to automatically deliver analytics reports to your team on a recurring basis. Follow the steps below to create a new scheduled report.


Accessing Reports

  1. Log in to your Lucidya account.

  2. Click the Reports icon from the main navigation bar.

The Reports page displays all existing reports with the following details:

  • Report Name — Name of the report.

  • Report Type — Monitor Report or Channel Report.

  • Product Name — Social Listening, Managed Channels, or OmniServe.

  • Source — The platform(s) included in the report.

  • Frequency — Delivery schedule (Daily, Weekly, Yearly).

  • Next Delivery — Date and time of the next scheduled delivery.

  • Creator — User who created the report.

  • Status — Active or Paused.

Filtering Reports

Click Filters to narrow down the list. Available filters: Product Name, Monitor Type, Data Sources, Frequency, Creator, Status. Click Apply to apply, or Clear to reset.


Creating a New Report

Click + Create Report to start the three-step creation flow.


Step 1 — Report Information

Fill in the following fields:

  • Full Name — Enter the report name.

  • Product Name — Select one of the following:

    • Social Listening

    • Managed Channels

    • OmniServe

Click Next to proceed.


Step 2 — Report Settings

This step varies depending on the product selected.

If you selected Social Listening:

  1. Select the Monitor Type:

    • Keywords — Then select the report type: Monitor Report or Newsletter Report.

    • Public Accounts — Select the data source (X Platform, Facebook, or Instagram) and the associated monitor. Note: Only one monitor can be selected.

    • Managed Accounts — Select the data source and the associated monitor. Note: Only one monitor can be selected.

If you selected Managed Channels:

  1. Select the Channel Type: Social Media, Chats, Emails, Ratings, or Calls.

  2. For Social Media channels:

    • Select the platform(s): X Platform, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok.

    • Select the Included Data: All Data (Posts + Messages), Posts Only, or Messages Only.

    • Select the Account(s). Note: Multiple accounts can be selected.

    • Select the Widgets to include in the report.

  3. For other channel types: Select the channel then the account(s).

If you selected OmniServe:

  1. Select the Analytics Page:

    • Inbox Analytics

    • SLAs Analytics

    • Agents Analytics

    • In Chat Survey (Questions)

    • In Chat Survey (Individual)

  2. Set Filters: Data Source and Monitor/Channel.

Click Next to proceed.


Step 3 — Report Delivery

Configure the delivery settings:

  • Recipients' Email Addresses — Select the email addresses to receive the report.

  • Report Language — Select Arabic or English.

  • Frequency — Select when to receive the report: Daily, Weekly, or Yearly.

  • Report Start Date & Time — Set the date and time for the first delivery.

  • Report Identity — Choose the visual branding:

    • Default — Uses Lucidya's brand colors.

    • Your Brand Colors — Uses your custom brand colors. Note: Brand colors must be configured in advance under Settings > Company Information.

  • Enable Luci in Reports — Toggle this on to add an AI-powered summary with key insights and recommendations to your report (consumes 9 credits per report).

Click Create Report to confirm.
