Lucidya allows users to seamlessly share live dashboards with teams or external viewers. This feature ensures that you maintain control over who can view and interact with the data while upholding high security and privacy standards.
Steps to Set Up Live Dashboard Sharing
1. When Creating a Live Dashboard
During the dashboard creation process, you can configure "Live Dashboard Access" by selecting one of three sharing options:
Private – Only you (the dashboard owner) can access the data.
Team – Any team member within Lucidya can view the dashboard.
Public – Both your team and external visitors can access the dashboard. However, external users can only view the data without interacting with it.
🔹 Note: Always ensure no sensitive data is included before sharing the dashboard with external visitors. To maintain privacy, you can restrict access to a specific timeframe, such as Last Hour, Yesterday, Last Week, or set a custom period of up to 30 days.
2. How to Share a Live Dashboard
Once your live dashboard is ready, follow these steps to share it:
Click on the "Share" button.
A pop-up window will appear with the following options:
If you selected "Team", a private internal link will be generated for sharing within your organization.
If you selected "Public", two links will be available:
Internal Link for team members.
Public Link for external visitors (non-Lucidya users).
🔹 Note: If you need to modify the dashboard settings before sharing, click "Edit Dashboard" to adjust configurations.
3. Monitoring Visitor Activity
You can track the number of visitors currently accessing the live dashboard via the eye icon 👁. This ensures you stay aware of the dashboard's viewing activity and avoid exceeding the maximum concurrent visitor limit, which may impact performance.
