The historical data feature allows users to retrieve past data based on their specific needs. While any monitor collects data starting from the moment it is created, any data preceding that point falls under historical data, which can be requested by the user directly through the platform.
How to Request Historical Data?
Requesting historical data is simple and can be done in just a few steps:
Choose "New Historical Data Request":
Navigate to the historical data request option in the platform.Select the Product and Data Source/Channel:
Choose the platform (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or blogs and news sites) and specify the data source or channel you want to retrieve historical data from.Select the Monitor/Account and Date Range:
Select the monitor/account where you want the historical data to appear.
Define the date range for the data you need, such as the past three months, last week, or the previous year.
Set the Maximum Number of Posts:
Indicate the maximum number of posts you want to consume for this request.
The platform will inform you of the remaining posts in your subscription package to help you manage your usage.
Processing and Data Availability
Once the request is requested, the platform begins collecting the historical data.
The process is efficient and typically does not take much time.
When the data collection is complete, the monitor will reflect the requested historical data, and the user will receive an email notification confirming the completion of the process.
