Lucidya introduces a new feature that allows you to create customized alerts for top trends on X, enabling you to stay updated with the latest trends in real-time. Now, you can create a new alert and receive instant notifications whenever a new trend emerges, giving you an edge in staying informed about everything happening on X. You can track trends globally or within specific regions, as well as follow specific keywords related to topics of interest.
Steps to create a new Alert for Top Trends on X
To create a customized alert for trending topics on X, follow these steps:
Go to "Top Trends" in the Social Listening product
Click on the “New Alert" button at the top of the screen. A pop-up window will appear to configure the alert.
Enter the alert name – Choose a relevant name to easily identify the alert later.
Select the region:
Global: Displays the most discussed topics worldwide, regardless of country.
Specific Country: Allows you to track trends in a particular country only.
Add keywords – Enter specific topics or hashtags you want to track for deeper insights.
Complete the remaining required fields, such as notification and Maximum No. of emails per hour
Finally, click "Create" – Your alert will be activated immediately.
Note: You can also set up and create this alert from the "Alerts" option within the "Utilities" menu.
Once a trending topic appears in your selected region or matches your specified keywords, you will receive instant email notifications, ensuring you stay updated on the latest trends and discussions on X.
API Limitations for X Trending Alerts
Only the top 20 trends are tracked, instead of the 30 trends shown on X.
Trends are collected every hour, which means a topic may start trending on X before you receive the alert, but notifications will still be delivered periodically.
