Customizing Your Link Survey's Display Settings (FAQs)

Looking to customize how your link survey appears to respondents? Here are answers to the most common questions about Display Settings in Lucidya.

How do I access Display Settings for a link survey?

Open your survey and go to the Questions section on the right side of the screen, then select the Display Settings tab. This tab is exclusive to link surveys and is separate from the default Questions tab.

What image formats are supported for the survey logo?

Lucidya supports the following formats for your survey logo: .png, .jpg, .jfif, .pjp, .pjpeg, and .jpeg. Once uploaded, you can adjust the logo size, replace it, or remove it at any time.

What is the character limit for the completion message?

The completion message has a maximum of 300 characters. You can customize it with letters, numbers, links, emojis, and special characters — or keep the default message if it fits your use case.

What happens to the text color when I choose a dark background?

When you select a dark background color, the text color inverts automatically to maintain readability. No manual adjustment is needed on your end.

When can I enable the progress bar?

The progress bar becomes available only when your survey contains at least two sections. If your survey has only one section, the toggle will remain grayed out and non-clickable.

Can I redirect respondents to an external URL after they submit the survey?

Yes. You can enable the Redirect on Completion option from the Display Settings tab and specify the destination URL. This setting is off by default.
