Welcome and farewell messages are essential tools for enhancing customer experience on social media platforms. By customizing these messages, you can strengthen your brand identity and increase customer satisfaction with the service provided.
Steps to Set Up Welcome and Farewell Messages in Omniserve Settings:
1. Access the Settings for Welcome and Farewell Messages
Go to the section for Welcome and Farewell Messages within the Omniserve Settings.
2. Select the Social Media Platform
Choose the platform you want to set up the welcome and farewell messages for. This feature is available on Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).
Note: Activating automated messages on X may impact the platform's direct message response limit.
3. Configure Welcome Messages
To send automated welcome messages when receiving the first message from a customer:
Enable the "Send Welcome Message" option.
Choose one of the ready-to-use templates provided by Lucidya.
Note: You can fully customize the message by clicking "Edit", allowing you to align it with your brand's voice and service details.
4. Configure Farewell Messages
To send automated closing messages at the end of a conversation:
Enable the "Send Farewell Message" option.
Choose one of the pre-made templates.
Note:
If you’re subscribed to the Surveys Product, you can include a survey link to collect customer feedback.
If you’re not subscribed, you can request a demo, and our team will assist you.
5. Finalize or Save Changes
If you’re setting this up during the initial configuration of the Omniserve Product, click "Finish Setup" to complete the process.
If you’ve made any changes later, a save bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. Make sure to click "Save Changes" to apply your updates.
